Candidate Mr. Mahmoud El Shamy (professionals – NDP) exploited Feast's prayers for his campaign and distributed gifts among children of the constituency in front of the Mosques. Mr. Saad El Housiny (professionals – Brotherhood) was present surrounded by dozens of his supporters praying, and chanting "Islam is the solution… the law of God Almighty". The Brotherhood organized a couple of conferences for Saad El Husseiny during which a 3km march took place with the presence of thousands of citizens.
